Santa?

The past weekend, we went to our "Family Christmas Party". It was fun. There was people there that I haven't seen since I left for mat leave.
They had a "Birds of Prey" show, and Sadie got to have a picture taken with one of the owls.
I love how Sadie and the owl are looking straight at eachother.

John, Chantel and Breanna went to. Breanna had fun playing with Sadie.

Breanna and Sadie holding hands. (I thought this was to cute, I had to take a picture)

When it was time to see Santa, we had to wait in line for a long time and Sadie started to get cranky. Right before it was her turn, she feel sleep.  So when it was her time to sit on "Santa's" (Nick Klassen) lap, she woke up and was not pleased on what she saw. I guess I'm just a bad mom. But hey she got a great gift out of it.

Splish, Splash

Sadie is finally in the big tub.
She has so much fun now.

Leaves, Leaves everywhere!

Tom was cleaning up in the backyard. So I decided to take Sadie out to, to play with the dogs.
She had so much fun. Later on, after this picture was taken, Sadie was rolling around and had leaves everywhere.

Sadie and the boys!

Grandma!

 Sadie visited her Grandma!
Looks like someone enjoyed it!

Ellen

On Monday, I was washing dishes, and I heard Sadie talking to someone...

She was talking to Ellen!

Bread!

On Sunday, Tom and I went grocery shopping. On the way home we heard a weird noice coming from the back. First I thought Sadie was playing with her crinkly book, then I realized that I didn't it give it to her. Tom and I both looked at her and we saw...
So when Tom pulled over, I got out and this is what we saw! She knew that she was doing something she shouldn't have been doing.  What we learned that day, is NEVER put a bag with bread beside Sadie.

Snow

Last night we had our first snowfall of the season...
I think she liked the snow.

Who's That?

A few days ago, Sadie saw someone in the mirror... It was herself!

Vandenberg and Briggs Thanksgiving

On Saturday, we went over to Tom's sister's place, in Kitchener, to celebrate Thanksgiving. Everyone wore their Maple Leaf Jersey's, which I forgot to bring my camera to take. Tom's neice brought her camera and she took a few pictures off Sadie with her little cousin.
Looks like Sadie is punching Dylan. They looked so cute last night. They laughed together, they cried together, and they pooped together. HAHAHA

                                                                  Playing after supper!

Pigeon Lake

On the 17th, we went up to Pigeon Lake with a few friends, for a few days.

We went for nice, long walks...

Sadie had her first campfire...

Sadie was on the Swing for the first time...

There was boats that we could rent for the day...

We even were able to take turns on the Jetskis...

There was a lot of fishing...

And every morning, Grandma took Sadie into their bed so I had time to get ready for the day.

All in all, it was a great weekend and looking forward to going again next year!

PINK

I have a confession to make. When I was pregnant I told everyone that I HATED Pink. The only colors I will have Sadie wear was Yellow, Purple... NO pink. But now I LOVE PINK. When I go shopping I look at the Pink or Purple cloths, and yesterday I bought Sadie some pink sleepers, a pair of mit`s with a hat and her very first snowsuit. And yes they were pink.
     TOO CUTE!

It's NOT Summer Anymore

Sadie and was were just about to go for a walk, and it was cold... well not really cold, but it was getting cooler. All looking at Sadie in her cute little Hello Kitty sweater and Jeans, I remembered what my mother told me when I was a little kid. "It's not summer anymore!" and I laughed.
I think Sadie is to cute for words!

A New Friend

A few weeks ago, my parents and their nieghbors ("uncle"Gerry and "aunt" Sandra) came over for supper. "Aunt" Sandra gave Sadie a cute monkey...

I think Aunt Sandra knew that Sadie and Mr. Monkey would hit it off!

Heaven!

This is my definition of Heaven...

When BOTH Tom and Sadie are napping, this means I get to be alone and read. Or sometimes I even go into the bedroom and take a quick power nap.

Dreams Do Come True

Whenever someone asked me (when I was little) what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would say "A Mom". Now that dream came true 4 months ago...

Tom and I became proud parents of Sadie Grace Vandenberg. She is one of the best things that has ever happened to us. She was born on March 31st 2010 at 2:30am. She weighed 6 lbs. 7 oz. and was 49 cm long.
We had may visitors visiting us at the hostipal...

                                                                       My parents,

Tom's parents

Toms brother John, his wife Chantel, and their little cutie Breanna.

my sister, Nicole

my mom's best friend, Sandra and her daughter Isabella

and Cobi Keunen.

When we came home, we couldn't stop watching Sadie. Whatever she was doing, we were there watching with big smiles on. When she was napping in our arms, we didn't want to put her down... but when we did, we took pictures.

sleeping with daddy.

Now that she is 4 months old, she is rolling around, smiling, and spitting bubbles... and just today I feed her pablum for the first time.
